Nr. 11 - Ratara 羅多羅（らたら）童子 Ratara Doji　

The main statue is Amida Nyorai.

The temple was founded in 701 by En no Ozuno / En no Gyoja .
. En-no-Gyôja 役行者 Jimpen Dai-Bosatsu (634 - 701) .

At the time of founding, it was called 青冷山長福寺成就院　Shoreizan Chofuku-Ji Joju-In.
Around 1345 日誓法印 Saint Nissei revived the temple and it became the special temple of 大内氏 the Ouchi Clan.
In 1871, it was united with 浄誓寺 the temple Josei-Ji and called 浄福寺 Jofuku-Ji.
The present-day 観音堂 Kannon Hall was the main hall of Josei-Ji.
In 1899, on behalf of the inhabitants of Kagawa, it became part of
嘉川八十八ヶ所霊場 the pilgrimage to 88 temples in Kagawa.

夜、清泉寺 Seisen-Ji と浄福寺の間の川に鮎かけに出かけたら、絹を裂くような大勢の悲鳴が30分くらい続き、真昼のような明るさになり、再び暗くなると、また悲鳴が続いた。寺の間を霊が行ったり来たりしたのだろう。
